Your Life Your Support is proud to announce that we are working with Discrete Heat to install Thermaskirt within the new hub, due to open in 2018.
Thermaskirt is an innovative heating system that dramatically reduces the spread of infection, ensures wheelchair users have the space to move freely around without cumbersome radiators taking up space and operates at low temperature, meaning no risk of burning on touch.
The heating system operates via the skirting board, allowing for an even flow of heat throughout the space and, since there are no visible wires or piping, it is easy to clean and maintain. It’s also ideal for those with respiratory problems, such as asthma as it reduces the movement of dust particles around the area, when compared to a standard radiator.
